KANCHANABURI BEACH

Would  you fancy swimming in  the River Kwai  during  your  stay  in Kanchanaburi ? Very easy indeed !
Simply go to Kanchanaburi Beach in the Southern part of the city where the river  banks are specially adapted and  fitted with fine sand, children and adults’ playgrounds,  tents and umbrellas. An excellent opportunity to spend a « day at the beach » while relaxing.

OTOP = « One Tambon, One Product »

OTOP = « One Tambon, One Product » is a specific shop not far away from the villa Baane Song  which presents typical Kanchanaburi  regional  craft products. A highly recommended place not to be missed.
All sorts of  original house decoration products and regional specialities can be found in Otop shop, which  are not available  in  other classical  commercial shops in town nor in the rest of the region.

PRASAT MUANG SING HISTORICAL PARK

Prasat Muang Sing (The City of Lions) is located 45 Kms North of Kanchanaburi city.  This marvelous Khmer temple complex was an important outpost of Angkor which marks the westernmost Cambodian advance of Cambodian power. It provides elegant testimony of their vast territorial claims, and displays the Khmer influenced architecture toward  this part  of Thailand during the 13th century.
 Prasat Muang Sing historical park has become a proud cultural heritage site, serving as an educational source, as well as an interesting tourist attraction in the region. It is an important place to visit for art and culture purpose, but also to relax in comfortable surroundings.
